Terms of use

Gold Scouts lists experiences offered by independent providers and is not the organiser or operator of an experience. Where Gold Scouts online booking is available, we facilitate payment securely through Stripe. Any applicable Gold Scouts booking or service fee is shown in the customer’s price summary before payment, and provider payouts for these transactions are handled through Stripe Connect. Some experiences may also offer payment arranged directly with the provider, such as cash, card on arrival, bank transfer, PayPal or the provider’s own payment system. Gold Scouts does not process or control funds paid directly to a provider outside Gold Scouts.

• Check the provider's own terms, safety requirements, age limits and cancellation policy before booking.
• Satisfy yourself that an experience is suitable for you, including fitness and accessibility requirements.
• Use the site lawfully and do not attempt to scrape, overload or disrupt it.

• You must be legally entitled to offer the experience, and hold any licences, permissions and insurance it requires.
• Listings must be accurate and must describe an experience you actually deliver.
• You must own or have permission to use every image you upload.
• You are solely responsible for delivering the experience, for the safety of participants, and for handling any refunds or complaints.
• Listings are reviewed before publication. We may reject, pause or remove a listing or account at our discretion, including for inaccuracy, unsafe practice or abuse.

You keep ownership of the content you submit and grant Gold Scouts a non-exclusive licence to display, resize and promote it on the site and in search results. The site design, branding and compiled directory remain ours.

We work to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and listing information is provided by third parties without warranty. To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for loss arising from an experience you book, from a provider's acts or omissions, or from your reliance on listing information. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
